Moto G gets Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in the UK

The Motorola Moto G is quickly becoming the little smartphone that could. After the very positive reviews earlier, Moto G owners have something else to boast about. They are now the proud owners of an Android KitKat smartphone.

Motorola just announced that all Moto G handsets are ready to be upgraded to Android 4.4.2. So users will now enjoy a faster and more secure phone, full screen mode, the new and improved Hangouts app, and gallery photo editing.
All of this for £135 ($180), and the Moto G is beginning to look like a better and better deal. If you didn't receive an update notification on your Moto G handset, then you can do a manual check. Just head to the settings menu, go to "About Phone", then click on "System Updates" and you will be asked if you want to update your Moto G. Click the source link below if you're having trouble and let us know how your Moto G performs after the KitKat update!

Get $50 off a Nexus 7 (2013) on Woot today

In terms of tablets, it’s hard to get more bang for your buck than the Nexus 7. Well Woot made buying one an even sweeter deal today but knocking off $50 from the price of Google’s tablet.
Keep in mind that these are for factory reconditioned Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi only units, so they won’t be brand new out of the box.

With the discount, you can pick up the 16GB version for $189, and the 32GB Nexus 7 for only $219, making it one of the better bargains out there right now. Especially when you consider the specs: a quad-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 1200 x 1920 IPS display with a 5MP primary camera and a 1.2MP front-facing unit.
If you’re still on the fence, check out our review of the Nexus 7 here to see whether or not it’s worth your hard-earned cash.

Motorola to bring another smartphone to EU next week

Motorola is planning to add a new smartphone to its European family of products. The company has sent out invites for a special event in London, UK on January 14, where it'll launch the new device.

Information is scarce at the moment and we don't know what Motorola's plans are. One possible outcome would be that the Google-owned phone maker is finally bringing the Moto X on a walk around Europe. Currently, the smartphone is only available in the US and Brazil.
The Motorola Moto X is currently selling for $400 free of contract and $100 on a two-year contract with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. If the Moto X is in fact the new device, we are hoping it will come alongside the Moto Maker and its vast customization options.
We'll find out exactly a week from now when Motorola will spill the beans on its latest smartphone.

Next-gen Samsung TouchWiz UI leaks

Thanks to @evleaks, we can now catch a glimpse of an upcoming smartphone user interface that Samsung is currently working on. A trio of leaked screenshots show a phone UI that looks like the next major version of the company's TouchWiz UI.
According to the prominent leakster, Samsung is currently only "exploring" the user interface, which you can check out below. More mature than the current TouchWiz UI versions, the new design is a bit more toned down and feels a bit more rounded.

Additionally, the homescreens pack interesting widgets, but at this point we can't know for sure what they're doing.
We guess Samsung will be ready for the new version of TouchWiz to debut on the upcoming Galaxy S5. It's rumored that the company is rushing to announce the phone at MWC in Barcelona, although this is yet to be confirmed and it seems more likely that the company will hold its own event instead. We'll keep you posted on any new info on the subject as it comes.

EXCLUSIVE: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo full specs leak

What has until now been rumored as the "Lite" version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is apparently set to see life as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. The confirmation comes from a bunch of these leaked internal product positioning documents that we acquired.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo looks to be more of a refresh to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 rather than a dumbed-down version of the Note 3, as it features the Galaxy Note 2's 5.55" 720p Super AMOLED display, 8MP camera, and 3,100 mAh battery. Even the RAM and internal storage are the same at 2GB and 16GB, respectively.
What is interesting, however, is the new 1.7GHz dual + 1.3GHz quad-core (Hexa) processor powering the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. We didn't get much details throughout the document beyond a mere mention of the name and the clock speed of the two sets of cores. It'll certainly be a step up from the 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos found on the Note 2, but the question is how will it compare to the Snapdragon 600 and 800 chipsets out there.
Could it feature Samsung new HMP solution - the one that allows all cores to work simultaneously? It would be an odd move for Samsung to debut their new killer processor tech in a "lite" model device, but this industry has certainly seen stranger things happen.
The good news is that Samsung is bringing over its slick new faux leather back cover from the Galaxy Note 3 (probably why it lends its name), and is a slimmer device than the Note 2 to boot. Also included are all of the Smart Features from the Note 3 and S4, including Air command and Advanced Multi Window.
We've been hearing talk of a new 720p Note variant for quite some time now, and although the leaked promo packet doesn't mention a release or announce date, MWC 2014 next month sounds about right. Be sure to check back with us for all the breaking news on the Galaxy Note 3 Neo!

Xperia ZL CM10.1 P.A.C True All in 1 ROM

P A C man ALL IN 1

Description
After months of work, the long awaited PACman 4.3 rom is ready for public released. This is still work in progress WIP and there are many missing parts. Though the rom is rock stable for average users. We are working on it daily to fill the missing parts.
Now what is PACman? The idea was to remove the need for a hunt of rom and cure flasholicsm by providing everything xda has in rom development in a single bloat free rock stable rom. This is the FIRST rom of its kind with a hybrid framework consisting on cm10.2, AOKP and AOSPA. What makes PACman unique is this perfect blend of all of these. Be informed PACman is not a "git cherry-pick blahblah yeee i am a dev donatezzz me" rom. It took a LOT of work of thinking behind to merge the frameworks in the right order.
